The Cowboys scored the game's first touchdown on a 1-yard run by Prescott in the first quarter. The Broncos responded with a 2-yard touchdown run by Wilson in the second quarter. The Broncos took the lead for good with a 25-yard field goal by Brandon McManus in the third quarter.

The Cowboys scored a late touchdown on a 12-yard pass from Prescott to Lamb, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Broncos' lead.

The Broncos improved to 4-4 with the win, while the Cowboys fell to 6-3.
