Erling Haaland Destroyed For Norway Performance One Of The Worst Things Ive Seen

Erling Haaland's Performance for Norway Called "One of the Worst"

Former Norway Striker Jan Age Fjortoft Slams Haaland's Performance Against Slovenia

Erling Haaland's performance for Norway against Slovenia on Saturday has been met with heavy criticism, with former Norway striker Jan Age Fjortoft calling it "one of the worst things I've seen."

Haaland's Lackluster Performance Raises Concerns

Haaland, who has enjoyed a stellar season with Manchester City, failed to make a significant impact against Slovenia, failing to register a goal or assist in the 1-0 defeat. Fjortoft, now a respected pundit, was highly critical of the striker's display.

"I've been watching Norway for 30 years, and this was one of the worst things I've seen," said Fjortoft. "Haaland was completely anonymous. He didn't participate in the game, and he didn't create chances for his teammates."

Missed Opportunities Plague Norway

Norway had several chances to score against Slovenia, but they were unable to capitalize on them. Haaland, in particular, missed a golden opportunity in the second half, blazing his shot over the bar from close range.

Fjortoft believes that Haaland's poor performance is a cause for concern, especially considering Norway's upcoming Nations League matches against Serbia and Sweden.

"We need Haaland to be at his best if we want to qualify for the Nations League Finals," said Fjortoft. "But based on his performance against Slovenia, we have reason to be worried."

Haaland's struggles for Norway come as a surprise, as he has been in sensational form for Manchester City this season, scoring 32 goals in all competitions.

It remains to be seen whether Haaland can rediscover his scoring touch for Norway. He will need to improve his performance if the team is to have any chance of success in their upcoming Nations League matches.
