New York Giants part ways with linebacker Tomon Fox
The New York Giants have released linebacker Tomon Fox, the team announced Monday.
Fox, a former standout at the University of North Carolina, had been with the Giants since 2021. He appeared in four games for the team last season, recording four tackles.
The Giants are reportedly looking to add more depth at the linebacker position. Fox's departure could open the door for other players to earn playing time.
Fox's Career
Fox was a three-year starter at UNC, where he earned All-ACC honors twice. He was selected by the Giants in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
In his two seasons with the Giants, Fox appeared in a total of 14 games. He recorded 11 tackles and one sack.
